Course Overview

Our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum covers core subjects to build a strong educational foundation. In Key Stage 1, we focus on essential skills in English including reading, writing and phonics, as well as basic arithmetic and shapes in Mathematics. For Key Stage 2, our curriculum expands on these basics, covering advanced English including comprehension and grammar and Mathematics including fractions, decimals and problem-solving. Our personalized approach ensures each child understands key concepts and gains the confidence needed for academic success.

How does Prospect Tutors work?
We work with an entirely tailored approach to our students. A high standard of teaching is delivered with a detailed feedback to the parents at the end of each session.
How much homework is expected?
Homework is subject to each child in the form of worksheets, exam questions, or research tasks all tailored around the students schedule
What will my child expect?
The fees cover weekly classes as well as access to worksheets. They will have a continuous tutor that they will build a rapport with. Parental feedback at the end of every session is also to be expected.
How long are the sessions?
The session are however long you want them to be ! A standard session for a subject lasts 1 hour. Extra hours and subjects can always be discussed and tailored.
How do we monitor progress?
Students will be tested on content at the start of every lesson , on the previous session. They will also receive practice questions throughout their session to consolidate their understanding. This will then all be given as feedback to parents at the end of the session.
